Just now, the robot startup 1X, backed by OpenAI, announced the official launch of NEO Beta, a bipedal humanoid robot prototype designed for home use.

NEO stands 5 feet 5 inches tall (about 165 cm), weighs 30 kg, walks at 2.5 mph (1.12 m/s), and can run at 7.5 mph (3.35 m/s). It’s designed to handle household chores, can carry up to 20 kg, and operates for 2 to 4 hours.
