ChatGPT Search Integrates with Her! Free Search and Tomorrow’s Live Stream Theme Revealed
OpenAI's ChatGPT Search upgrades include voice search during real-time calls and improved multimodal results. Free for all users soon! Discover more updates.
On the 8th day of OpenAI's "Double 12" event, there were some iterations and upgrades to ChatGPT's search function (which is starting to resemble Google).
There are three main points, and in my opinion, the biggest highlight is the second one:
Based on user feedback, the search experience has been optimized, with faster mobile search and the ability to retrieve multimodal information.
Combined with the Her feature launched a few days ago, voice search can now be performed during real-time calls.
It's free, and will gradually be rolled out to all ChatGPT users.
According to official information, ChatGPT Search is powered by a fine-tuned GPT-4o model, post-trained using novel synthetic data generation techniques (including synthesized data extracted from OpenAI's o1-preview).
Starting today, the search will be available on ChatGPT.com, desktop, and mobile apps, with gradual coverage.

Today's livestream lasted a total of 13 minutes, and Ultraman didn’t appear.
Some netizens were quite disappointed:
When will GPT-4.5 arrive?
Some even called for the arrival of AGI.
But at the end of the live stream, the three presenters still expressed optimism, saying that there are more exciting products and features to look forward to.
They even gave a spoiler for tomorrow's livestream content (what exactly? We’ve added it as an Easter egg at the end of this article).
