DeepSeek-V2.5 combines chat and coding capabilities in one model, now open-source. Enhanced for writing, coding, and human-aligned preferences. Available via web and API.
Today, we successfully merged the DeepSeek-V2-Chat and DeepSeek-Coder-V2 models, officially launching DeepSeek-V2.5.
DeepSeek-V2.5 retains the general conversation abilities of the Chat model and the coding strength of the Coder model, while better aligning with human preferences.
Additionally, DeepSeek-V2.5 has made significant improvements in writing tasks and instruction following.
