Flux 1.0: Batch AI Image Generation with Streamlit and Replicate API
Discover Flux 1.0: The new AI image generation leader, batch create stunning images using Streamlit and Replicate API with top-tier performance.
In the field of artificial intelligence, disruptive changes can happen every day.
Just a day after Midjourney’s major update, a standout new player emerged in the open-source image generation space—FLUX.1.
This unexpected newcomer claims to significantly outperform closed-source models like DALL·E 3 and Midjourney V6, and it instantly overshadowed the entire open-source SD3 series, causing a stir in the AI community.
FLUX.1’s rise to prominence, taking on the toughest competition right from the start, feels like a scene from a classic battle.
It turns out that FLUX.1 was founded by the well-known Robin Rombach, a leading authority in the field of diffusion models. Robin is known for his work on VQGAN, Taming Transformers, and Latent Diffusion.
Stability AI later acquired Robin’s Latent Diffusion model and appointed him as Chief Scientist. During his time there, he led the globally popular open-source project, Stable Diffusion, one of the most downloaded and widely used open-source models in the world.
In March this year, Robin left Stability AI due to internal disruptions. After four months of planning, he returned with the launch of FLUX.1, a new open-source model platform.
Surprisingly, FLUX.1 secured $32 million in seed funding led by the well-known venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz right upon its debut.
This funding undoubtedly boosts FLUX.1’s future prospects.
So, what makes FLUX.1 stand out?
