OpenAI O3 Model IQ 157: AI Beats 100 Years in 7 Months!

O3 model achieves IQ 157, surpassing 99.8% of programmers. OpenAI raises AI IQ by 42 points in 7 months, rivaling Einstein's intelligence!

According to data released by OpenAI, the new model o3 has a Codeforces rating of 2727, surpassing 99.8% of programmers worldwide.

If converted to an IQ score, this would be approximately 157—historically comparable to Einstein. Although Einstein never formally tested his IQ, it is widely believed to have been over 160.

While AI lacks emotional intelligence, in terms of IQ alone, humanity can no longer see AI’s "taillights."

In fact, when OpenAI released GPT-4o earlier this year, its IQ was only 115, within the range of an average person. The preview version of the o1 model reached an IQ of 123, equivalent to a doctoral level. The full version of o1 achieved a staggering IQ of 135, while o3mini broke through the 140 mark.

In just over 7 months, OpenAI has raised AI’s IQ by an impressive 42 points.
