The payment company Stripe (the same provider behind ChatGPT’s payment system) has launched an interface specifically designed for AI agents, allowing them to complete financial payments using one-time virtual cards.

The announcement quickly garnered attention from nearly a million online users and sparked heated discussions in developer communities.

According to official documentation, the SDK offers the following features:

• Enables LLMs to call APIs for payments, billing, card issuing, and more.

• Supports integration with platforms like Vercel, LangChainAI, and CrewAIInc.

• Allows the use of any model through functions, with billing based on tokens.

This means that in the future, when we ask our “AI assistant” to book a flight, it can actually handle the entire process, from selection to payment.
